Terms of Service

Perplica is an AI persona platform for market research. It lets you create simulated personas, hold conversations with them, run focus groups, and compare persona variants. Personas are software simulations powered by large language models — they are not real people, and their responses are not professional advice of any kind.

Perplica is currently in a private beta. Access is granted by application and may be revoked at our discretion. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and using Perplica for professional research purposes.

You agree not to use Perplica to generate unlawful, harassing, or deceptive content; to attempt to re-identify or target real individuals through simulated personas; to probe, disrupt, or overload the service; or to resell access without our written agreement. Simulated research output must not be represented as responses from real research participants.

You retain ownership of the content you create — persona definitions, conversations, uploaded files, and research materials. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service: storing your content, processing it through the AI providers described in the Privacy Policy, and displaying it back to you. We do not use your content to train models.

Persona responses are generated by large language models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. You are responsible for how you use simulated research output in your own decisions. Output does not constitute statistically valid market research on its own.

You can export your data and delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is permanent. Details of what we store, for how long, and what survives deletion are in the Privacy Policy.

The service is provided “as is” during the beta, without uptime guarantees. Features may change or be removed. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (currently zero during the free beta). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
